No more app switching and unnecessary distractions while chatting.

I disable notification badges for messaging apps and turn off all social media notifications on my phone.

This allows me to check messages on my own schedule instead of feeling compelled to respond to constant buzzes or clear those pesky red notification dots.

Even without these steps, checking messages across different platforms can be time-consuming and distracting.

Beeper offers a better approach by bringing all your chats into one app.

This also eliminates the distraction of scrolling through social media feeds when you simply want to check your DMs on Instagram or X/Twitter.

The app currently allows you to connect to WhatsApp, Signal, Messenger, Telegram, Google Messages, Instagram, X, Slack, and Discord.

The Beeper app isn't new but they've just released their new desktop and iOS app (TestFlight), which according to their release post, it is more snappy and energy-efficient.

As a new Beeper user, I can’t compare it to the previous version. My first impression of the Mac app is great and works as it should, though the iOS version could use a facelift.

Still, I’m looking forward to using it in the coming months.
